1. Introduction

This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the payment, retention, and non-refundability of deposits when reserving a vehicle with HuppeR Motors LLC (“Dealer”). By placing a deposit, the buyer agrees to the terms outlined in this document.

2. Deposit Terms

2.1. A deposit is required to reserve a vehicle and secure its price.
2.2. The minimum deposit amount is $200.
2.3. The deposit can be made using one of the following methods:

• Cash payment at the dealership;
• Bank transfer;
• Electronic payment methods as agreed upon with the dealer.

3. Non-Refundable Deposit

3.1. The deposit is non-refundable under the following circumstances:

• The buyer cancels the purchase after placing the deposit;
• The buyer fails to complete the transaction within 7 calendar days from the deposit date;
• The buyer does not provide the required documents or fails to meet other contractual obligations;
• The buyer is unresponsive and does not communicate within the agreed timeframe.

3.2. The deposit may only be refunded in exceptional cases, such as:

• If the vehicle becomes unavailable due to the dealer’s fault (e.g., sold to another party, damaged, repossessed by court order, etc.);
• In other cases as required by U.S. federal and South Carolina state laws.

4. Liability and Disclaimer

4.1. The dealer is not responsible for a buyer’s decision change after placing the deposit.
4.2. Deposits cannot be transferred to another vehicle unless agreed upon in writing by the dealer.
4.3. The final vehicle price, condition, and sale terms must be agreed upon before placing the deposit.

5. Additional Terms

5.1. HuppeR Motors LLC reserves the right to modify this policy without prior notice.
